Rho Delta Chi (PΔX) is the first Asian-Interest Sorority at University of California, Riverside. The sorority was founded on January 17th, 1991 in order to unite females of different backgrounds through the bonds of sisterhood and to provide services in the best interests of the community as well as the University. It was formed to increase Asian awareness, provide services in the best interest of the community and the University, and to unite women of different backgrounds through bonds of sisterhood. Since its inception, Rho Delta Chi has welcomed women of all Asian descent into its sisterhood in hopes that its original purpose of bringing harmony among all ethnicity, would not be forgotten but passed on from one generation to another. Rho Delta Chi focuses on four pillars: Sisterhood, Service, Scholastics, and Social.
A woman of Rho Delta Chi is one of well-roundedness, is culturally empowered, donates time to philanthropies, and strives for nothing less than academic excellence.
Rho Delta Chi was formed by 14 women of at UC Rivesride in order to unite women of different backgrounds through the bonds of sisterhood.
Brought to CSUN in 2013, Rho Delta Chi has made an impact on campus by bringing a fresh and culturally diverse organization to campus. One of the fastest growing organizations on campus; CSUN Rho Delta Chi has changed the lives of many young women and will continue to serve in philanthropic activity and as a place for girls to empower each other in a loving sisterhood. We are truly a family away from home.
